Wednesday night at 7pm, Pete Jager returns to the airwaves, with a new episode of his show, "The Greatest Songs In The World (as Decided by Me)"

And last, but certainly not least. Rock Against Hate Volumes 7 & 8 came out on Friday.
Please consider buying these compilations. Each contains over 20 previously unreleased songs, and 100% of proceeds go to wonderful LGBTQ+ causes

I'm going to be completely upfront here, I've seen a lot of streams of the songs happening on Bandcamp, but not a lot of purchases. The problem with this is the non-profits don't receive any money for the streams, so please, if you are streaming the songs, please purchase the albums.
I know listening habits have changed a lot int he nearly 25 years I've been doing BlowUpRadio.com. Digital music was in its infancy back then and streaming music (including the early days of our station) was often met with numerous buffering issues. Owning physical media was still in fashion.
Now you can find most music on the internet and stream it, but it comes with a lot of caveats.
- The music can be removed at any time, so a song you love today, could be gone from the streaming sites tomorrow.
- artists make much less money from streams then they do from purchases of music
- and if you're streaming on sites like Bandcamp, artists (or in this case non-profits) make no money
So if you believe in these LGBTQ+ causes, please purchase these albums to help them, and to have downloads of these great songs, so you'll always be able to listen to them.
