Last week I learned of Radio Garden State, an internet station bringing you music and shows created right in the Garden State.
Some of you might think that sounds similar to what BlowUpRadio.com has been doing since 2000, and you would not be wrong.
But, there can never be too many stations revolving around New Jersey music and arts. This continues to be an underserved community.
In fact I have already talked with Mike Ham, the creator of Radio Garden State, about ways we can work together to promote New Jersey.
The first collaboration is that every Monday at 7pm ET Radio Garden State will be simulcasting our live broadcast of BlowUpRadio.com Presents New NJ Music, and we hope to have more sharing of shows and collaborations.
So if you get tired of listening to BlowUpRadio.com (how dare you!), you can check out more New Jersey music & programming at https://www.radiogardenstate.com

Next week I am hoping to be able to share more info on this year's Banding Together benefit webathon for the Spondylitis Association Of America, airing on BlowUpRadio.com October 18th-20th.
I may even be able to list the over 50 acts already involved in this benefit to help find a cure for this debilitating rheumatic disease that the CDC estimates 1 in 200 Americans have, including my wife (and less notably Mick Mars (Motley Crue) & Dan Reynolds (Imagine Dragons)).
Even with so many acts involved, there is still room for more.
So if you are a musician and interested, there are 2 ways to be involved:
1. Looking for musicians to pre-record a 30 minute live audio performance exclusively for broadcast during the benefit. The performance should be predominantly original songs (1-2 covers is okay).
2. We are also looking for previously unreleased original songs (which can include acoustic or live versions of previously released songs, remixes, etc.) for this year's compilation. I ask that all songs be original (no covers) and that they remain exclusive to the compilation until January 1st, 2025.
