Pissed Off!

Instead of a traditional Pissed Off!, this week you get some insight into how warped my mind is:

What if U2 were pharmacists?

A customer comes to pick up her prescription.

Bono (pops up from behind the counter): “hello, hello, heard you’ve got a case of vertigo.”

Cutomer: “um…yes.”

Bono (picking up a prescription bottle), "for a beautiful day, take 1 pill every day"

customer: "is there anything special I need to know about the med?"

Bono: "with or without food, with or without food, uh-huh, you can take this, with or without food"

customer: "any side effects?"

Edge (pops up beside Bono, guitar in hand) (sung to the tune of "numb"): "don't drive until you know the effects, this pill may cause blurriness"

Bono: "if you're feeling numb, consult a professional"

Customer: “Are you guys alright?”

Bono: “It’s alright, it’s alright, alright, we move in mysterious ways.”

Customer: “what do I owe you?”

Bono (sung to the tune of the Beatles “let it be“): “let it be, it’s for free, your insurance covered the fee.”

Customer: “um…that’s not a U2 song.”

Bono (spoken): "In 1968 Charles Manson stole this song from the Beatles. We're taking it back."

Customer: “Yeah…I’ll take my meds and go now.”

Bono: “walk away, walk away, walk away, walk away, I won’t follow”

Customer: “yeah, bye.”

Bono (spoken): “walk away.”

That's all for this week folks.
