Hey Everyone,

It's been a busy few weeks folks, so let's get to the updates

~~~
Last Friday "The Weekend Mix-Up!", hosted by Mick Hale (from the band Mod Fun), premiered on BlowUpRadio.com. You can tune in every Friday at 9pm ET (with re-airings Saturday at 9pm, and Sunday at 1pm & 6pm), to hear Mick spinning an incredible mix of everything . . . and anything... and what's in-between: MOD, PUNK, SKA, DUB, OLD R&B, GARAGE, ELECTRO, PSYCHE & GOTH!!!
BlowUpRadio.com has been redesigned, with a new "splash page" logo, and better showcasing our special programming on the webcast.
I want to make the webcast more noticeable on the site, because some people have had problems finding info on the webcast, and others come to check out the site daily, but do not regularly listen to the webcast.
I am thankful to anyone who stops by BlowUpRadio.com, but I hope that you will all tune into the webcast to hear the best mix of NJ's indie music scene, and special programming like Lazlo's Den, the Rock & Roll Gas Station, and The Weekend Mix-Up!
Speaking of special programming on BlowUpRadio.com, I am working on a few new show ideas that I hope to have on the air in early 2010.
If there is something you'd like to hear on BlowUpRadio.com, I welcome you to contact me and let me know.
If you have a show idea you'd like to do on BlowUpRadio.com, pitch it to me. If I like it, I may give you your own show on BlowUpRadio.com.
Lazlo's top albums of the year is coming soon on Lazlo's Den. This year I'd also like to try to compile lists from you, and play back a listener based top albums of the year countdown. If you'd like to participate, e-mail me your top 10 albums of the year by Dec. 21st.
Concert Picks Of The Week
~
Lazlo (BlowUpRadio.com)
Friday night Piano's in NYC is the place to be as NJ's own Tris McCall has his CD release party for his superb new album, "let the night fall".
~
Jim Testa (Jersey Beat)
FUTURE FUTURE, Invincible Gods, The Vandelles, The Bedroom Girls - Wonderbar, 5th and Ocean Ave. Asbury Park - 9 pm, $2, 21+
Future Future are a tween siblings duo - imagine the Jonas Brothers minus one brother. The Invincible Gods are a trio who play sloppy but anthemic punk rock. And how can you go wrong for two bucks?
~
Danny Coleman (Rock On Radio)
My pick of the week is LAURA CRISCI opening for JOHN EDDIE this Friday 12/18 at The WONDER BAR in Asbury Park. Laura is fresh off of her brand new CD release party for "All Is Well" and ready to perform for the masses. I'm told that she'll be doing a scaled down performance without her full band; however, her energy, enthusiasm and all around talent will still be on full display. The headliner, John Eddie, makes this a one two punch that's sure to knock you off of your feet.
Show begins at 9pm and The Wonder Bar is located at 5th and Ocean Aves.
ROCK ON!
Pissed Off!
Happy ACHOO (Another Commercialized Holiday Of Overspending) Everyone!!!!
That's all for this week folks.
Peace,
Lazlo
