Message From Lazlo

Hi Everyone,

So I'm going to keep my message short and simple this week.

We're just a few weeks away from the big 2 day Spondalytis Association of America benefit concert. I hope to see all of you there on Sept. 28th & 29th. We've got some amazing bands playing, and we're working on some very cool things to raffle off (more on that soon).

~~~~~~~~~~
Last Friday the Milwaukees called into Lazlo's Den. If you missed it, the interview, along with plenty of others, is up in the interview archive at LazlosDen.com for you to stream.
Who will be calling into Lazlo's Den this week? Keep your eyes on LazlosDen.com for some cool interview announcements.
~~~~~~~~~~

So you say you want to hear the Milwaukees interview, but you'd like to take it with you, say on a portable MP3 player. Well the BlowUpRadio.com Podcast has you covered, along with music from Logs In The Mainstream , Readymade Breakup, The Subterraneans, and John Raido.

~~~~~~~~~~
You say you'd rather read some CD reviews? Well we've got you covered there too. BlowUpRadio.com and Lazlo's Den has new reviews up of CDs from Warm In The Wake, Zydepunks, Kabuki Killers, The Red Romance, and Lillian Axe.
Peace,
Lazlo
Concert Picks of the Week
Lazlo (BlowUpRadio.com)
Saturday, Jon Caspi has put together a benefit show for American Recreational Military Services (A.R.M.S.), a group of grass roots volunteers who wanted to give something back to the military and their families. Regardless of your stance on the war, this organization is about helping the soldiers, something I think we all can agree on. Along with Jon Caspi and his band, Anthony Manno, Maybe Pete, and Christine Martucci Band will be playing this show at the Seven Days Bar in Union Beach.
Thursday Sept. 13
GLENN MERCER, Steve Wynn & The Miracle 3, Wild Carnation - The Mercury Lounge, 217 E Houston St. NYC - 8:30, $12, 21+
This bill unites two of the greatest talents from the Eighties indie underground, Glenn Mercer of the Feelies (now touring to support his excellent debut solo album Wheels In Motion,) and Steve Wynn, formerly of L.A.'s seminal Dream Syndicate, who has been living in Brooklyn and performing with his band The Miracle 3 for years now. Opening is another Feelies alumnus, bassist/singer Brenda Sauter, who fronts the smart and delightful pop band Wild Carnation.
