Message From Lazlo

Hi Everyone,

So I am busy trying to get some reviews up on my blog (from the Black Potatoe Music Fest, So Co Music Experience, and Curt Kirkwood's show at the Mercury Lounge), so I am going to turn over this week's message to the Black River Music & Art Fest.

Hello from the Black River Music & Art Festival!

As someone who signed up for our e-mail list we're sure you are aware The Black River Music & Art Festival is only a month away. On Saturday August 19th you'll be able to enjoy 3 stages of the best local musical artists in a variety of styles at our FREE day-long outdoor festival in Chester NJ.

If you go to www.blackrivermusicfest.com, you will not only be able to see a schedule of who is playing when, but you'll also be able to read band bios, and listen to songs from all of the performers.

You can also get directions, so you'll know exactly how to get to The Black River Music & Art Festival.

So go visit www.blackrivermusicfest.com right now, and don't forget to visit The Black River Music & Art Festival in Chester, NJ on Saturday August 19th.

Thanks,
The organizers of The Black River Music & Art Festival.

Peace,
Lazlo

The Anderson Council - 'the fall parade'

The Anderson Council love hooks, good chord progressions, and the occasional FREAKOUT. They're from New Brunswick, New Jersey but Peter sings with an English accent (think Ray Davies or Syd Barrett). People like to make a big deal of this, but we don't think it is. The songs don't sound right with an American inflection.
