Hey Everyone, I hope you had a better 4th of July weekend then I did. Some of you noticed that BlowUpRadio.com's webcast was down most of this weekend, well here's what happened. On Saturday Morning Live365 (the host for our webcast) had "a hardware failure that resulted in the loss of many broadcasters' files." I had personally handpicked over 22 hours worth of music that was up there for your listening pleasure...all of it now lost. Since I now had to go back and reload all the songs I previously had up on the webcast from CD, I decided to do a lot of cleaning. Replacing some tracks with others, removing a lot of music by defunct bands, etc. After 3 days of sitting in front of this computer uploading the tracks I am proud to announce that the new and improved webcast is up and running and ready for you to listen in. There are still a few songs that need to be added back in later this week, and I need to get some new BlowUpRadio.com sweepers onto the webcast, but by next week I should have a complete playlist of what's on the webcast for you right here in this newsletter. And speaking of BlowUpRadio.com sweepers, if any bands feel like recording a "hi we're (insert band name), and you're listening to BlowUpRadio.com where NJ rock lives!" sweepers, feel free to e-mail me it in MP3 format and I'd love to use it on the webcast. So go check out the new webcast, let me know that all that hard work was not for nothing :) So I am very tired after working so hard to get the webcast back, so the big announcements I was going to do this week will have to wait. But don't forget to come out to SICA on Saturday for another Folk You! show.
Hope to see you there! Peace, Lazlo |
