Hey Everyone, This is it, my last BlowUpRadio.com newsletter as a "bachelor". Don't worry, being married isn't going to change BlowUpRadio.com one bit... ...well with the exception being that for a few weeks the updates to the site will be limited, the Album of the Week will be on hiatus, and the next newsletter will be in early June. Otherwise, BlowUpRadio.com will still be where NJ rock lives! So this Sunday (May 22nd) I am marrying the love of my life, Naomi, who many of you have had the opportunity of meeting out and about at local scene shows with me. Naomi and I are having a private ceremony in the afternoon for mostly family, but we'd like to take the time here to publically thank in advance John Taglieri, My Pocket Zoo, Souls' Release, and Paul Crane (Bastards of Melody), Mike Random (Six To Eight Mathematics), & Jeff Brogowski (LawnDarts), for adding a Jersey Rock flair to our private ceremony. While the afternoon ceremony is a private event, Naomi & I would love to see everyone come out to the after-wedding party we're throwing! This show is free and is going to rock! So please come out and help Naomi & I celebrate our werdding day! Again we want to thank in advance: Mazeffect And speaking of Jim Testa, on May 24th BlowUpRadio.com and Jersey Beat will be co-sponsoring a Folk You! show at The Goldhawk, 936 Park Ave (at 10th st.), Hoboken, NJ. The show is free and will feature performances from: James Wells () John Raido () and Marc Maurizzi (Cropduster/Brokedowns) So come celebrate a wedding on Sunday and then celebrate the return of Folk You! to Hoboken on the 24th! Peace, Lazlo |
