BlowUpRadio.com presents Folk You!

Message From Lazlo

Hey folks, this Wednesday is another BlowUpRadio.com's FOLK YOU! show happening at
Rodeo-Ristra
230 Washington St (next to McDonalds), Hoboken, NJ (201)216-1550
*****THIS IS A FREE SHOW*****

For those of you new to this newsletter, FOLK YOU! is an opportunity to see acoustic music in an intimate venue. The performers range from singer/songwriters to bands doing rare "stripped down" peformances.

And the line-up for this edition of FOLK YOU! is:

Chris Gibson (High Speed Chase) ~ As the frontman for aggro-rock band High Speed Chase, Chris Gibson combines a vibrant and violent hellride through the duality of human nature and the tragic consequences of alienation, wrapped up in a miasma of discord and despair. Watch him take it down a notch in this rare acoustic performance.

Dawn Botti (formerly of Slushpuppy) ~ When Dawn Botti was the lead singer of Slushpuppy she was making music which is at one moment beautiful and soaring and at the next, exploding with thunderous grooves, screaming vocals and shrieking guitars. Now embarking on a new solo project, Dawn's soul-searching lyrics sung to intoxicating melodies will take on a whole new form.

Danny Roselle (No Soap Radio) ~ You just saw his poppy brand of rock and roll when he played Lazlo's Birthday Bash with his band No Soap Radio. Now for the first time ever, check out Danny Roselle doing stripped down acoustic versions of some NSR tunes and maybe even some other surprises.

Jonathan Andrew ~ A former memeber of the band Ciampi and the current bassist/backing vocalist for Souls' Release, Jonathan Andrew is doing a rare solo acoustic performance for this month's Folk You! Jon sings of relationship woes, putting it to infectious and heartfelt melodies.

This is an incredible line-up I am very happy to be able to put together, but if that's not enough to get you out, then let me add that we will have limited free copies of BlowUpRadio.com's Local Music Sampler CD.

And if you are still not convinced, download and listen to some MP3s from past FOLK YOU! shows. There are new exclusive performances up from Paul Crane ("did you know") and Souls' Release ("the wheel").

Peace,
Lazlo
