1. MESSAGE FROM LAZLO

Read anything good in the Aquarian/EC Rocker this week week? :)

Big, BIG thanks to Chris Barry for writing a wonderful write up on blowupradio.com in his Shore World column this week. You didn't read the Aquarian/EC Rocker this week? Well why the heck not? Go out and get a copy now. Support the local rock press. If you can't find a copy, you can read the write up by clicking here.

On to other news. Many people saw me out and about at show this weekend with recording equipment. Why, you ask, would I be carrying around recording equipment to a rock concert? Because blowupradio.com is preparing to start a new weekly series. Our new series will be a webcast of a local band's rock concert in it's entirety. No editing, no fancy studio remixing, just the great raw live sound you'd get if you were really at the show.

Now there is just two problems with my idea for this show:

1. What night of the week and at what time should it air? I have set up a poll on our Main Page, giving 2 different day options and two different times. Please voice your opinion by voting. If you have any other ideas for days and times, please drop me a line at lazlo@blowupradio.com.

2. What the heck should I call this show? I mean "King Biscuit Flower Hour" has already been used ;) I need a cool name that let's everyone know that this is the show to hear live sets from the best local bands NJ has to offer. Please E-mail me your ideas to lazlo@blowupradio.com. If I choose your name for the show, I will send you a package containing several CD's containing music by NJ bands.

I hope to have the show on the air within the next month (I already have 8 potential shows recorded). If you are in a NJ based band and are interested in more details about how to become involved with this new show, drop me a line at (yep, you guessed it) lazlo@blowupradio.com.

And one last note...In case anyone cares, I am the "smash hockey" champion and will injury anyone who tries to beat me. (inside joke)
